NDT Engineer
Overview
This role safeguards zero-defect delivery across aerospace composite and metallic parts by embedding quality at every stage—from raw-material qualification through in-process inspections, tests, and final acceptance. You’ll partner with design and manufacturing to translate requirements into practical QAPs, checklists, and inspection plans; execute and document dimensional checks and NDT (UT/RT/CR), interpret radiography, and validate fasteners, seals, and tooling. You’ll drive non-conformance management end-to-end (raise, track, close), capture lessons learned, and standardize improvements against ASTM/ISO and aerospace acceptance criteria. Success looks like clean records, closed NCRs, and measurable defect reduction—especially across filament/tape winding, prepreg and sandwich constructions. Ideal for a QA/QC engineer (B.Tech/Diploma) with ~3+ years in defence/aerospace assemblies, hands-on flaw interpretation in composites/metallics, and NDT Level-II/III credentials preferred.
